Hamiltonian Systems

A wide set of mechanical systems (conservative or with negligible dissipation) can be modelled as Hamiltonian Systems. Over the last decades, their study has seen outstanding advances, obtained by means of different approaches coming from symplectic geometry, topology, calculus of variations, and the analysis of PDEs. The purpose of this workshop is to present recent results related to these different points of view and also to report on noteworthy applications to celestial mechanics, mathematical billiards, and dispersive PDEs.

Sistemi Hamiltoniani
