Gilles Brassard receives the Wolf Prize for Physics

The ETH Institute for Theoretical Studies congratulates former Senior Fellow Gilles Brassard on being awarded the 2018 Wolf Prize for Physics.

Gilles Brassard, of the University of Montreal, shares the prize with Charles H. Bennett, of the IBM Research Center, Yorktown Heights, "for founding and advancing the fields of Quantum Cryptography and Quantum Teleportation". Professor Brassard was at the ETH-ITS for a first stay in 2014 and will be back as a Senior Fellow in the Spring of 2019.
